A woman called herself Margaret when she rang back on her mobile, which I found here. She claimed she'd had enough time to jot my number down, but that seemed unlikely since there wasn't much of a pause. She insisted she was literally returning my call. When she read out the number she had, she added a '1' at the end, which clearly wasn't mine, so I ended the call. It was about 7 in the morning, and I was half asleep, so the whole thing felt a bit sketchy. Although the number's unfamiliar, it definitely gave me the vibe of a potential scam.
