I picked up and there was complete silence for a little while. Then the line went dead like someone dropped the call. Later, a lady rang wanting to speak with our director, but by his first name. I told her he wasn’t in and she just ended the call straight away. Definitely some sort of spam, I'm sure.

Got the standard rubbish about some changes to our landline. They ended the call before I had the chance to mention we're on the CTPS!

They called up asking to talk with the person who runs the business, said something about our phone lines and giving advice or something. I told them straight we don’t want any advice and not interested at all, but they kept on pushing which was annoying. Ended up blocking the number.

Got a call from a woman whose English wasn’t very clear. She mentioned something about my electric meter showing “weird readings that need checking” and said she’d send someone out to “sort the meter so it works right”. I told her I suspected she was trying to rip me off. Then she shouted some really awful insults at me before slamming down the phone. Lovely behaviour!
