Today I got 3 phone calls from someone claiming to be Oliver at Amazon HQ, saying my account got hacked and someone tried to buy an iPad Pro 11 at 11.30am on 16th July 2021. They told me I’m owed a refund of £1499. They mentioned they’ll ring me again tomorrow at 5am to sort out this “refund”. I had to write down and repeat back to them 3 different security codes, each one really long - like 35 to 43 characters. After that the access seemed to be locked down but I’m still not sure if this refund thing is legit. Has anyone else had a call like this?
