Got a call from someone saying they were Microsoft and had issues with my computer. I just ended the call immediately, definitely a scam.

Somebody rang me saying they were from BT and told me there was an issue with my internet. They warned that if I didn't sort it out soon, my internet would be cut off. Felt a bit dodgy to me.

So this person told me to get on my computer and visit some site to install a program. I’m not totally sure what it was meant to do, but honestly, just be careful with that sort of thing.

Got a call from someone claiming to be BT using an Indian accent, saying they needed to check my landline. I’m not even a BT customer. I hung up right away and put the number straight onto my block list.
