Got a call from 01932229867 earlier, and when I tried ringing back, a lady picked up sounding all chatty with a quick “hello.” But as soon as I asked what company she was from, the line went dead. Seems like they’re focusing on folks around Glasgow now. I’ve blocked the number, but I’m sure they’ll switch it up and call again. Best to just give it a miss - it’s a scam, no doubt.

these days i just don't pick up if i don't recognise the number or if its private. after that, I usually look them up on websites like this to find out who they might be. if it looks sketchy i just block it straight away on my phone. i swear by these sites to dodge those annoying calls!

Yesterday they kept ringing me non stop. First time i told em i wasnt interested, yet they kept calling again from a number i didnt recognise. When i picked up, it was the same bloke from that energy firm. He said since i wasnt answering, he’d try a different number to get through and help me save money. He even used my name which was a bit creepy. I asked him where he got my number but he wouldnt say. Honestly, i’m fed up with these calls, how the hell do they even have our private details? This number keeps ringing me up even though I dont want their calls. Both blokes and lasses speaking with North East accents try to get me by my name, then quickly cut off when I dont respond. They can keep throwing their time and dosh away on me if they want. Honestly, I get a bit of a chuckle watching their bravado vanish once they figure out I’m not a customer.

I looked up this number and found on another site that it’s supposedly from Bulb Energy - a proper company, but apparently they’re hassling people to switch their energy providers. So, if they ring me again, I’ll just ignore it completely since sales calls feel like scammy rubbish. If I do decide to change energy suppliers, it’ll be my choice, not because some dodgy rep is chasing a commission from me.

Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise. Just as I was about to pick up, the caller ended the call. I’m not planning on calling back, but I’m looking forward to whatever they’ve got next.
