Told them that was wrong (although it’s really none of their business) and that I’m retired now. When I asked who she was, she replied, “The Hearing Centre Durham.” I told her he never went there, and she snapped, “I never said he did, is he there?” I told her he passed away suddenly before Christmas. Her response was a curt “Well I didn’t know that did I,” said in a quite sharp tone, maybe with a Manchester accent.
