01912493695 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 01912493695 👆 is reported as a mix of legitimate BT communications about the decommissioning of old analogue and ISDN copper lines and attempts to offer updated fibre or digital services, alongside some scam calls where callers falsely claim BT affiliation and pressure recipients regarding non-existent lines. Several genuine callers named Sean or Shaun are described as professional and helpful, assisting with line switches or service improvements. I received a call from someone claiming to be from BT, insisting that we had a live ISDN copper line and warning that it was scheduled for disconnection by Openreach. I explained that we actually use VoIP and that their engineer had visited the day before and everything was perfectly alright. But he kept rambling on about this supposed active line they were going to cut off from the junction box. Eventually, I told him it was all okay and they could go ahead with the disconnection. That seemed to really irritate Liam, and he ended the call rather abruptly!

Got a call from someone claiming he was Liam at BT, said there was an active line in our box that they were shutting down. I explained we use VOIP and don’t have any BT copper lines, but he kept insisting there was one. I told him the engineers came by yesterday to fix our phone stuff, yet he wouldn’t back down. Said I’d put him through to the director, then he suddenly just hung up. Definitely a scam.

Got a call from someone called Callum claiming to be from BT, saying we have an analogue line with them. Thing is, we’re not even with BT! When I asked for an account number so I could take a message, he said he didn’t have any details. Definitely sounded fishy - probably a spam call.

Had a chat with someone from BT recently. Since we've just moved over to VoiP, I arranged for the ISDN line to be disconnected.

Shaun rang me saying he was with BT and sounded really furious and pushy. He got really annoyed and eventually just hung up after I told him the person he wanted wasn’t employed here.

Got a call from BT support about analogue lines. We're not their customers, but they told us about the upcoming cut off for copper lines.

So BT called about this whole digital switch off thing, but honestly, we were already on digital. We still have an alarm system running on ISDN lines though. The bloke mentioned we might be able to keep using it if we switch to a SIM card instead. Bit confusing really!

Watch out! Those green posts don’t seem that trustworthy. Take care!

Got a call from a bloke named Shaun at BT. We’d just set up the service but ran into a few issues. Luckily, he managed to sort it out by getting Openreach to fix things remotely. Big thanks to Shaun!

I got a call from BT telling me they’re shutting down the old analogue phone lines soon.

I got a call today from a guy named Sean, said he was from BT. He was ringing about the old-style copper lines we have. We hadn't realised the ISDN lines were being switched off, so he arranged for someone to visit us and give a plan for new digital lines with handsets. Turns out, the new setup will actually cost us less than what we’re paying at the moment.
