Someone with an Indian accent rang me claiming to be from Openreach, saying there were issues with my internet connection. Funny thing is, my actual provider phoned me just yesterday to confirm everything was sorted out. I ended up hanging up because it felt dodgy. I’m up north, so if it were really Openreach, they’d have contacted me from the local office, not some place like 100 miles away. Honestly, I can’t tell if it was some kind of scam or not.
