I received a rather persistent approach from a firm named Connect, who are promoting a service to take over my business landline. They were incredibly forceful in their sales pitch, boasting that they could undercut BT by a staggering 45%. They've made numerous attempts to pop round to my place for what they call a ‘quick’ five-minute, no-strings-attached presentation.

Absolutely atrocious behaviour from this young lady! I let her know multiple times that we were pleased with our current telephone service, yet she completely ignored me. In the end, I decided to end the call myself. I've now put her number on the blocked list!

Got a call earlier and picked up, but then it just disconnected right away. Odd, isn’t it?

I had a rather aggressive chap on the line today. He just wouldn't take my refusal for an answer. Kept insisting that I switch my phone service, but I was quite firm in saying I wasn’t interested. Even after my clear decline, he mentioned that someone would be ringing me the next day, despite my explicit request for no further contact. Now I’m left with an uneasy feeling that someone might just show up on my doorstep unannounced. If you happen to receive a call from this number, please hang up straight away. I wish I had done the same instead of trying to be civil-look where that got me!

I received a call from this individual who was incredibly aggressive and refused to hear me out. They were adamant that I should switch my phone provider, going so far as to claim someone would be in touch with me the next morning, even after I expressly declined. I made it clear that I wasn’t interested in any further contact, yet they seemed utterly unfazed. I genuinely fear that someone might appear at my house uninvited tomorrow. I strongly advise against engaging in any discussions with this person.
