I can't believe the audacity of this firm named Connect, which apparently operates out of Newcastle. Even after I've asked them repeatedly - at least ten times - to stop calling my number, they just won’t quit. I’ve flagged them up to Ofcom a few times over the past couple of years, and yet here we are again. Today, after getting the fourth call in less than a fortnight, I warned them I’d report them yet again. Absolutely maddening!

They somehow guessed my shortened first name and even knew what our company does. When I asked who was calling, they just said it wasn't important and that they'd try someone else, then quickly hung up on me.

I’m getting so fed up with these broadband sales calls! I keep telling them to stop ringing me, but they just don’t take the hint and can be really rude too. I even put their number on the TPS, so I don’t understand why they keep bothering me like this... it’s so annoying!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from ‘connects’ who mentioned Openreach at first, but when I asked for more details, he admitted he wasn’t connected to Openreach at all. He was making all these wild promises that I knew were rubbish and just wouldn’t accept me saying no. Just before I lost my temper, he said he didn’t want to waste any more time and hung up on me. I thought they said cold calls would be stopped since GDPR came along!
