I can't believe the audacity of this firm named Connect, which apparently operates out of Newcastle. Even after I've asked them repeatedly - at least ten times - to stop calling my number, they just won’t quit. I’ve flagged them up to Ofcom a few times over the past couple of years, and yet here we are again. Today, after getting the fourth call in less than a fortnight, I warned them I’d report them yet again. Absolutely maddening!

They somehow guessed my shortened first name and even knew what our company does. When I asked who was calling, they just said it wasn't important and that they'd try someone else, then quickly hung up on me.

They rang me but ended up just hanging up right away.

I’ve grown absolutely weary of these relentless calls from broadband sales folks. Despite repeatedly asking them not to ring me again, they just won’t take the hint, and they can be a bit unpleasant, to boot. I've even added their number to the Telephone Preference Service list, so it's baffling why they're still pestering me. It’s incredibly frustrating!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from ‘connects’ who mentioned Openreach at first, but when I asked for more details, he admitted he wasn’t connected to Openreach at all. He was making all these wild promises that I knew were rubbish and just wouldn’t accept me saying no. Just before I lost my temper, he said he didn’t want to waste any more time and hung up on me. I thought they said cold calls would be stopped since GDPR came along!
