This phone number showed up on the contact info for reimbursement of medical costs overseas under Form DL6111C. I submitted a claim for a modest sum (about €200) back in early February 2017. They requested my bank info, which I was hesitant to share. Later, they sent over the necessary forms along with proof of the claim and again asked for bank details. They mentioned the process might take a few weeks, which seemed reasonable at the time. Checked in just yesterday and was told it could actually take as long as a year now. I’m a bit uneasy about this, so I’m planning to drop a line to their office in Newcastle for some clarification. Being older, perhaps I'm just a bit overcautious. Still, giving out bank info doesn’t sit well with me.
