I picked up the call, only to be greeted by a chap going on about someone named David and his blundering antics on Facebook. The choice of words was absolutely appalling! It was clear they didn’t realise I was listening in. After scrolling through some of the other remarks, I've decided to block them for good.

I finally picked up this number after seeing it pop up several times. The caller was searching for a Mrs Fleming, which I clearly am not. Honestly, I've lost count of the amount of times I've been asked for her. So, I mentioned that, only to be cut off by the caller who rather rudely exclaimed, "Well, you can't have had hundreds of calls, love, because we only just got your number!"

I had an unexpected call recently from someone claiming to be associated with the government's renewable energy initiative. To my surprise, he even knew my name! Once I expressed my disinterest, he turned rather hostile and confrontational. He rudely questioned how I could possibly be uninterested without hearing him out, attempting to dominate the conversation. I reiterated that I typically avoid unsolicited calls, and he had the audacity to yell, ‘So why do you pick up then?!’ At that point, I had enough and hung up.
