Some bloke claimed to be from TalkTalk (our actual provider) but had no clue about the name on the account. Just a little tip from me, it really does work. Scammers never seem to give up calling you. When they ring, just tell them you’re homeless or that you’re staying with a mate. After a few times they usually bugger off. I’ve tried it with a few and it’s helped loads.

I've had about 15 calls in the past few days. They usually just go to voicemail, then hang up. I'm thinking of getting in touch with BT and warning them that if they don't do something to track down this annoying caller and stop them faking UK numbers, I'll begin charging BT £10 for each call I get recorded. If the caller says they're from Scottish Power or any other UK business, I'd recommend getting in touch with the company too, letting them know, and giving them the same warning - charging £10 every time those calls come through.

I've never dealt with Scottish Power but I've been getting about 4 or 5 calls every day on my phone from them. I've finally just blocked the number now.

Got a weird text from some unknown number saying I'd set up a bitcoin account under my first name - no idea where they even got that from. I told them I don’t have any account like that and told them to close anything in my name. Then I blocked the number, but soon after, they kept calling from that same number. Haven't picked up and blocked it again. Be careful, sounds like one of those scams.
