I must say, this operation is definitely dodgy, masquerading behind the guise of the Telephone Preference Service. They attempt to coax you into disclosing your credit card or banking information under the pretense of confirming your TPS registration. Quite the trickery!

I received a call from a chap with an Indian accent, claiming to represent a service that screens telephone calls. When he inquired if I was still plagued by nuisance calls, I replied in the affirmative, adding "you" for good measure before promptly ending the call.

I've received a couple of calls in just five minutes! Didn't pick up either time, but judging by what others have mentioned, I reckon it's likely the same type of call. Quite bothersome and potentially hazardous for anyone who might not be aware!

Received a couple of calls in rapid succession today, neither of which I picked up. My voicemail informed me there was a message, but it turned out to be a mere ten seconds of dead air. It’s quite amusing how these dodgy characters reckon we might fall for their claims of being from the TPS, all the while engaging in the very tactics that the TPS was established to thwart.

I've received six calls from this number today! Strangely enough, not a single message has been left behind. They seem to hang up as soon as the answering machine starts. Quite peculiar, if you ask me!

In a single day, this particular number rang my landline a staggering thirteen times! Strangely enough, they never left any voicemail, which leads me to suspect it’s likely a scammer trying their luck. It’s certainly been a right bother, and what’s more, they seem determined to keep trying!

I received a call from an Asian woman claiming to represent the telephone preference service. Just another one of those pesky scams, isn’t it? Honestly, I’m becoming quite exasperated with these incessant calls.

I've had five calls from this number today, starting as early as before 9 in the morning! I tend not to pick up because I have a voicemail service, but it's rather irritating that they don't bother to leave a message. Quite tiresome, to be honest.

I've no idea who these folks are, but I've gone ahead and added them to my BT Call Protect blacklist! Goodbye, unwanted calls!

Received a call from 01909561745 claiming to be from TPS, inquiring if I was still getting nuisance calls. They mentioned something about my Visa card nearing its expiry and sounded rather fishy, like they were fishing for banking details. I didn’t hang about and ended the call promptly.

Like others have mentioned, the Telephone Preference Service absolutely should not request any information regarding your debit card.

Claimed to be representing TPS and provided a fake name along with a phoney phone number. When I probed for his date of birth—followed by a request for his credit card details—he panicked and promptly ended the call. Definitely a con artist.

Received a call at 4:05 PM on the 24th of August, 2017. When I picked up, there was nothing but silence on the other end. No response whatsoever!

I had no clue whose number it was; certainly not a familiar one belonging to family. It really irked me since I was expecting some crucial calls to come through.

The number appears as an INTERNATIONAL call. I'm curious about who it might be and how they're able to use a foreign number, presumably originating from overseas?

Received a call that showed up as international, yet it seems that’s not quite accurate. The caller hung up without uttering a word. Dated 24th August 2017.
