Got a ring from a mobile number, looked like it was from EE and figured it was a business enquiry. But right off the bat, an automated woman’s voice said something about a £600 transfer abroad being investigated - total scam. Didn’t bother listening further and just ended the call. I knew it was dodgy straight away since banks don’t usually call from mobiles! Everyone be careful, always double-check the number and contact your bank directly before taking any action!

They often mess up and say they’re from BT, but I always quiz them with questions they can’t answer. Today the caller said he was from my bank. When I told him, “That’s a bit worrying, I never gave my bank this number,” he just hung up straight away.

Just got a call from 01556613766, an automated female voice saying she was from Visa/MasterCard security, that someone tried to charge my card £600 and to press one if it wasn’t me. When I did, it connected me to a call centre, and a guy with an accent who said his name was Charlie started talking about needing to block this and any other payments. I told him I'd ring my bank to verify and he just muttered "oh, ok" before I ended the call.

Today alone, my landline got hit with a recorded message three times, all about some urgent £600 payment supposedly taken from my account. They really don’t give up easily, hoping I'll cave in. Earlier on, I got a call on my mobile from a lady mentioning "an accident that wasn't your fault". I said "Yeah, that's correct", and then some Asian bloke asked me when the accident happened. I told him it was like 35 years ago! He just hung up straight away. They keep bothering us, so I make sure to give them a bit of grief back.

Got a call this morning about a £600 charge from Visa Security, told me to hit 1 if it wasn’t me. The first call came from 0033225411687, but then a totally different number called with the exact same warning. Feels dodgy to me.

Just like all the other times, they took £600 off my Visa when I hit 1. This one had the number 01287900784. Don't fall for it!

I just got a call from a dodgy number 0001892864098, they played a recorded message claiming £600 was taken from my Visa. They didn't give any other info, just told me to press 1 if I wasn’t the one who did it. I left it and hung up straight away. Checked my bank right after and there was nothing missing at all.

Got two calls today in the space of a couple hours, both from numbers that aren't even listed. There was this robot voice saying it was something to do with Visa Fraud and a £600 charge, telling me to press 1. Pretty obvious scam if you ask me.

Got a call from number 001438238663, it was the same kind of call. I just ignored it and let it disconnect on its own. Definitely don’t hit 1 if you get a call from them.

I got a robo call from 001959574310 saying they were from the VISA fraud team and that there was a £600 transaction on my card. They told me to press 1 if I didn’t authorise it. Total scam, definitely don’t press anything!

About ten minutes ago I got a recorded call from a scammer claiming to be Visa Secure, saying they were about to take £600 out of my account. The number they called from was 001236874883. I just hung up straight away. These lot are a right menace and really worrying.

About ten minutes back, I got a call from a lady saying there was a £600 withdrawal on my Visa card. She told me to press 1 if it wasn't me. I didnt press anything at first, just waited till the call ended. After that, I tried dialling 1471 to check the number, but it said the number was unavailable. Really dodgy if you ask me.

I got a call from this number 001724865844, it was some robot telling me there was a £600 purchase happening. Totally caught me off guard!

I couldn't find the number, but it sounded just like those other calls. They said it's Visa Secure and apparently someone tried to use my card for £600 without permission - then asked me to press one to speak with someone. Luckily, I looked it up online and came across this discussion before doing anything.

Got a message about 600 quid being taken without permission, with one of those robot voices on the line. Rang Visa myself straight away, but they said there’s no record of anything like that. Strange!

Got five calls in a row, all from the same robotic lady saying she was from Visa and about a dodgy £600 transaction. She told me to press 1 to speak to their security team. The first four calls didn’t even show a number, but the last one came from 0002083021582.

I got a call today from 00517287785 with an automated voice claiming to be from Visa. They said someone had attempted to withdraw £600 from my account and told me to press 1 to speak to an agent. Don’t fall for it, it’s definitely a scam!

Got a robo call claiming £600 had been stolen from my Visa card, and to press 1 to chat with someone about it. Didn’t bother listening any longer since it’s clearly a scam - no genuine bank calls you up like that. The number came up as unavailable on my phone, but I googled it and ended up on this site. Seems like the same story loads of others have reported.

Just got a call from the number 0011 795142 myself! I hit 1 just for the banter, and then some bloke starts saying he’s from BT Broadband Security. Their act was rubbish, couldn’t even tell me which part of BT they were meant to work for. Honestly, a total fail. 0 stars from me. Better off sticking to whatever boring day job they had!
