I got a call claiming to be from BT, saying there was a problem with my internet and that hackers were using it for money laundering or something dodgy. Felt off straight away since my broadband company isn’t actually BT. The guy had a weird American accent and kept calling me 'Ma'am,' which seemed odd. He told me to be sat at my computer so he could fix my IP address. I asked for his name and said I'd call back, then he just hung up on me. Very fishy if you ask me.

On 25th Jan 2018, I got a call from this number. The guy on the other end, who sounded Indian, kept telling me there was something wrong with my internet and that he could sort it out. He was quite pushy and honestly, a bit of a nuisance.

Got another dodgy call earlier. I just let it ring off to voicemail, then went ahead and blocked the number.
