I received a call from 01332300882, but I chose not to pick up. I let it ring for about half an hour before dialling 1471 to note the number. I’m now searching for it on this site, as I believe this same caller has been getting in touch around the same time each morning.

Absolutely dreadful line quality – all I could hear was crackling and static. The caller claimed to be "James from OpenReach." However, they hung up almost immediately when I started to question them.

I received a dodgy call this morning at 8:39, from a chap with an Asian accent claiming to be from BT Openreach. I wasn’t having any of it, so I simply said I wasn’t interested and hung up the phone.

Claimed to be called Rose, she warned me that my internet was on the brink of being cut off due to some hacking nonsense. I decided to ring BT myself and then she abruptly ended the call.

I've just received a rather alarming phone call claiming there’s been some dodgy activity on my router and that my system has been compromised! I find it hard to believe that my broadband provider wouldn’t reach out to me directly about such a serious issue. It’s all rather unsettling! What on earth do these callers hope to achieve with such tactics?

I received a call from a chap named "Jack," who purported to represent BT Openreach. Classic scam behaviour, really. When I asked him to provide my name and customer number for verification, he promptly ended the call. Quite telling, wouldn’t you agree?

Just received my second "Internet compromised" call today. Strangely enough, there was silence on the line this time. Definitely sounds like one of those automated dialling systems.

I've received calls from this number three times this week. My husband is involved with our local church, and since the area code seemed familiar, I presumed it might be a member of the congregation trying to reach out. I attempted to return the call, but it was met with an engaged tone, followed by ringing. After coming across these reviews, I've now decided to block the number.

I didn't recognise the number, so I let it head to voicemail. The moment the outgoing message kicked off, the caller hung up. Clearly, it wasn’t anything of significance!

I received three missed calls from this number while I was out and about. I couldn't quite make out what the caller was on about, though it seemed to involve something to do with a computer. I ended up hanging up and letting him know I wasn't interested. Feels like it might be a scam to me.

Received a phone call earlier from someone claiming to be from Openreach. Had quite the noticeable Asian accent, I must say. He informed me that my internet was about to be disconnected. I found his claims utterly preposterous and told him I would be reporting the matter. To my astonishment, he then cheekily suggested that I should flirt with him! Absolutely not, mate!!!

They keep ringing me but never bother to leave a voicemail. I've gone ahead and blocked the number since I have no clue who it belongs to.

Goodness gracious, why on earth is BT not taking action against these loathsome individuals? Their numbers are easily traceable, and honestly, no upstanding citizen ought to endure such an infringement on their personal space. It’s rather infuriating, don’t you think?

Claimed to be from BT, warning that my internet was about to be cut off. This bloke has called numerous times in the past; whenever my partner confronts him, he hangs up. I'm utterly fed up with his persistent harassing calls, which seem to come every couple of weeks like clockwork.

Received a call from an unfamiliar number linked to the Worksop region. They didn’t bother leaving a message. I'd recommend steering clear and not returning the call unless you can confirm who it is. Better safe than sorry!

I received a call from someone claiming to be with Openreach, warning me that our internet service would be cut off within the next day. To be honest, I could tell straight away it was a dodgy operation. Our actual internet provider is the one that should inform us if there are any issues, not some random representative from Openreach.
