Quite unsettling to receive a call at 7 in the morning, claiming to be from Windows! The individual on the line had a noticeably difficult accent and insisted that my computer was in dire straits. When I inquired about their identity, they promptly disconnected!

I said hello and after a moment heard a voice that sounded Asian. I quickly interrupted and told them, "This number isn’t registered, you’re actually breaking the law by ringing. Don’t call here again." Then I hung up and blocked the number. Sorted. Honestly, it’s such a pain to get a call like that at 6 pm while I’m barely able to hobble across the room with a dodgy toe ligament. Ah well, c’est la vie.
