I said hello and after a moment heard a voice that sounded Asian. I quickly interrupted and told them, "This number isn’t registered, you’re actually breaking the law by ringing. Don’t call here again." Then I hung up and blocked the number. Sorted. Honestly, it’s such a pain to get a call like that at 6 pm while I’m barely able to hobble across the room with a dodgy toe ligament. Ah well, c’est la vie.

Received a call meant for my elderly relative who's 90, battling heart issues and leukaemia, and struggles to move around. Fortunately, they didn't pick up. If they had, and ended up injuring themselves trying to get to the phone, we would have definitely looked into legal options against whoever made that call.
