6 yearsToday at 11.54am I got a call from a bloke claiming to be from Medical Alert, saying I was eligible for a free medical check. It was clear he was rattling through a script since I had to cut him off with actual questions. He mentioned they’re located in Oxfordshire but kept reading his script without really engaging. When I finally asked where he’d got my number from, he just hung up. The caller ID showed 01909 212181, which is a Worksop area code - the same as my landline, oddly enough.
