The caller said they were from Proficient Helpline. I got shuffled between 3 different agents all asking for more details about an accident I supposedly had. I recently received one of those nuisance calls claiming I'd been involved in an accident. It was obviously a pre-recorded message. When a chap finally came on the line, I asked him to take my number off their list, but he simply hung up on me. I’ve lodged a complaint with the Telephone Preference Service, yet, unsurprisingly, they’re unable to assist without the company’s info. It’s all rather infuriating, isn’t it?
