This lot keeps ringing about holiday deals for timeshare holders (RCI). We dumped our timeshare ages ago (what a relief!), told them to update their files but they just keep calling. Even blocked one number but somehow they manage to get through on others. Properly irritating!

Got a call from a timeshare scammer who clearly couldn’t land a real job. The creepy bit? She already knew my full name and phone number. It’s mad that BT doesn’t do more to block these dodgy calls!

This number rang me up earlier today. The woman on the line, Lisa, claimed our timeshare company passed on our contact to her so she could sell us some kind of "platinum holiday" deal, either in Palma Majorca or one of eight resorts in Tenerife. I said I wasn’t convinced and she immediately ended the call. I’ll check with our timeshare company but I’m pretty sure they’ll say they never gave out our details. Who would hand over their members' phone numbers to a different timeshare firm? They must think I’m daft or something.

Avoid both RCI and Karma Royal at all costs, especially since Karma Royal is registered in Indonesia for some suspicious reason. These timeshare or holiday share firms are best stayed away from.

Some bloke claiming to be an RCI reseller kept ringing me up, but he wouldn’t say how he got my info. When I asked him to take me off his list, he just ignored me. Proper pushy about setting up a call back as well.

Got a call from someone saying they had extra holiday offers for rci members, claiming I was eligible. Honestly, no clue where they got my number from as they refused to say. Told them to take me off their list straight away. Seemed dodgy to me, so i just blocked the number. Definitely not interested in whatever they were selling.
