Today, during my lunch break, I received a rather peculiar call from a bloke who wouldn’t stop going on about loft insulation. He claimed I could benefit from some government-funded renovations. Naturally, I decided to look up his number, and it’s safe to say that my instincts tell me this chap is nothing more than a con artist.

Had a rather baffling experience with a caller earlier, their voice was so muffled it reminded me of someone discussing loft insulation. This is the second time I’ve had a call from them within a fortnight. Honestly, it felt like a dodgy marketing ploy or perhaps a scam? Quite irritating, to say the least.

I received a call from a company claiming to be conducting a loft insulation assessment on behalf of the government. They inquired whether I owned my home, and upon my response of 'no', they abruptly hung up. Quite peculiar, really.

When I receive those pesky cold calls, they often hang up before the recorded message has even played. If they do stick around long enough to trigger the message, I can easily determine whether it's someone I’m interested in chatting with and jump in, otherwise, I simply cut the call. Thankfully, it appears I’m not getting any cold or scam calls now—it seems to have resolved itself!

Received a call from this number, but when my phone prompted the caller to state who they were, all I got in response was silence. Classic behaviour of a scam artist, so I’ve promptly blocked the number for any future shenanigans.

Just had a call from this number. I picked it up, but after a mere couple of seconds, they cut off without a word! Quite bizarre!
