Got a call from a bloke saying he'd do a free loft check to look for damp and mould. While he was nattering away, I sneaked a peek at the number and found out it was flagged as a potential scam. When I told him about the terrible reviews linked to his number, he asked me to say it again, so I repeated that it had a really awful rating. After that, he just hung up on me.

I got a call from 01908 (Milton Keynes) 881005 on Tuesday, 01/06/2021 at about 9:29am. The person claimed to be from my energy company and asked if I owned the house. I told them I’m registered with the TPS and asked why they were still ringing me. They just hung up on me straight away! Then when I tried to ring them back, it just kept buzzing like no one was there. Sounds like yet another dodgy scam to me!

Got a recorded call from some local energy advisor. Looks like it listens for you to say something, and then if you don’t reply, it just ends the call. Bit annoying, but maybe you can block the number if it keeps coming.

When I answered, a bloke with an English accent spoke to me, saying he was the local energy advisor and asked if I owned the property. I just told him to sod off and ended the call. Being on the TPS doesn't seem to help at all these days. There really ought to be a way for phone companies to block numbers after they get loads of complaints about them making nuisance calls.
