I got a call from someone with a funny accent, talking about some activity on my bitcoin account. Thing is, I’ve never even got one! Then they started trying to get me to put money into bitcoin. Total scam, obviously.

Got a call just now from this number, said they were Amazon and wanted me to pay £79 a month. Seemed fishy to me.

Got a call from a fella with a foreign accent who wanted to speak to me by name. When I asked who it was, he mumbled something about a free loft survey. Then he went on asking if I was the person he wanted to talk to. I said no, and then he asked if I was the householder. I said no again and suggested he probably dialled the wrong number. He seemed a bit lost for words, said sorry, and then hung up.
