This number keeps ringing me claiming to be from National Corporates and calling multiple times to verify my email so they can send their yearly report, which I never asked for. When I asked where they got my details from since I never subscribed to any newsletters, they said they must have emailed me before and maybe it ended up in my junk folder. I checked right then while the caller was on the phone and found no email from them, then they just hung up on me. I’ve blocked the number now, but just a heads up to be careful with calls like this.

I don’t quite remember if he said his name but he was talking about some kind of investments and - strangely enough (your spellchecker’s messed up, part of me wants to mock it lol - hope it’s alright to have a go at something that ain’t alive) - he actually knew mine and I’m curious how that happened. He got quite pushy when I told him I didn’t have time, so I just ended the call.

I picked up the phone, and to my surprise, the chap on the other end was quite friendly. After a brief exchange of pleasantries, he dived straight into his spiel. I couldn't help but interject, asking, “What exactly is the reason for this call?” Suddenly, there was an audible sigh, full of exasperation, as if I’d interrupted his afternoon tea! Next thing I knew, he was gone - just like that! Honestly, what a farce! It’s evident this is some dodgy scam.

Got a missed call from this number on my mobile. After checking the reviews here, I rang it back. There was a recorded message by a young woman with a thick south London accent saying something about ATI or maybe API Telecom, couldn’t really catch it properly. She said for any questions, ring 0845 2869727. Looks like another dodgy number to add to the block list, if you ask me.
