The number was unfamiliar so I just left it ringing. After seeing some comments here, it seems like a cold call, so I've gone ahead and blocked it now.

A woman with a Scottish accent called, asking if I owned the house, and even mentioned my postcode. I couldn’t quite make out where she said she was calling from though. I just replied I wasn’t the homeowner, and she politely said goodbye and ended the call. There was loads of noise in the background, sounded like she was in a hectic call centre.

got a call from a woman with a scottish accent claiming she was from DM Designs, saying id shown interest in their stuff (which i definitely havent). she told me id won a £1,000 voucher for a bedroom makeover. i looked up dmv designs online and found they got slapped with a £90,000 fine about six years back for cold calls. pretty dodgy if you ask me.
