The absolute nightmare of telemarketers. They only pop up every so often, like every few months, but I reckon it’s been over a decade now. Possibly even more. They're always calling me and when I finally picked up and mentioned they shouldn't be contacting me, the person got really rude. They said they had my approval to call, and then began shouting when I said I never agreed to that. I’ve been living in France for 20 years now and yes, I do write, but I still get loads of calls on both my French landline and mobile. One trick they seem to use is ringing once then calling straight back again, maybe to avoid hitting an answerphone or voicemail.
