Cant believe some folks are calling this a legit call. Its a phishing trick to grab your personal info and build a file on you so they can use it for email and phone scams. Never pick up calls from numbers you dont recognise and never share your personal info with anyone on the phone, no matter what.

Someone rang me for a survey, called me by my name and said they got my number from Kirklees Council. Since I used to work there, I knew straight away it was a load of rubbish, so I just ended the call. Feels like a phishing attempt to me.

Got a call at 9pm from some woman asking about a housing association repair done in my flat a couple of months back. She asked for me by name, which I found really inappropriate at that hour. I was already in bed! I'm definitely going to report this to my housing officer tomorrow. It's not right to ring up over something so trivial so late.
