I got a call from Mercedes Benz Finance a couple times and decided to check them out here, thinking it might be dodgy. But then I phoned the number on their official site (0370 847 0700) and it turns out the calls come from a different main office line. Definitely not a scam. They were mostly checking my address details as it was wrong in their system and also asking about my plans when my contract finishes.

This was the main Mercedes office ringing. They were just following up on a question I put in on the Mercedes site, making sure my local dealer had got in touch. They didn't ask for any private info or anything like that. Really polite and professional.

Got like 10 missed calls from this number last week. Finally picked up today, and some guy with a deep voice was rambling about a follow-up from an “email” they claimed to send months ago. Told him I’ve never even had a Mercedes. Then he asked if I wanted to swap my car now or sometime in the next 6 months. Asked him to take me off their list since no idea where they found my number. He said he’d sort it in their ‘system’.
