I recently received a recorded message purporting to be from an Environmental Officer in my vicinity. Honestly, if they can't be bothered to engage in a proper conversation and resort to a pre-recorded spiel, then I simply have no interest in their calls. I've gone ahead and blocked the number.

I picked up the phone and didn't utter a word, only to be met with an automated woman’s voice that bid me farewell before disconnecting after a brief pause. This was on my BT landline on the 24th of January, number MK 01908103256. Honestly, it’s a relief I didn’t have to sit through the nonsense; it would’ve been just the same old rubbish. I've gone ahead and reported it on bt.com/scams.

What an absolute nuisance! These callers persistently ring my home line using various numbers, and as someone with a disability, it’s an uphill battle to grab the phone when it rings at such awkward times. It’s particularly maddening when they hang up the moment I answer. The whole situation can be incredibly aggravating and really complicates my day-to-day life.

Received a call stating that our home is on some government registry needing loft insulation replaced. The chap, I think his name was Jim, gave me the spiel. I politely declined and promptly hung up before blocking the number. What a nuisance of a scam!

A chap named Luke claimed he was with an energy firm, but it sounded like a robotic message—definitely not a genuine conversation! I swiftly ended the call, consulted this site, and promptly added the number to my block list. Much appreciated!

I received a call today from a guy named LUKE who claimed to be an energy advisor based in MILTON KEYNES. The thing is, we’re situated in the DERBY area, so it all felt a bit off. I also got a call from the number 01908103277 yesterday. Both numbers are now firmly blocked.
