I received a couple of phone calls earlier today. I didn’t catch the first one, but I managed to pick up the second call immediately. Strangely enough, there was complete silence on the other end when I greeted them twice, so I decided to hang up.

I answered the call, but the other end was silent. After waiting a while, I decided to end the call. I'm left completely in the dark about who it might have been or what they were after.
