I received a call purporting to be from my mobile provider, claiming to be EE, but the truth is, I don’t even have an account with them. I’ve blocked their number immediately!

Roundabout capital, never met anyone from there. Pure SCAM mostly about dodgy loft insulation promises or too good to be true phone offers and stuff like that.

Got a call on my landline from this number, answered and an automated voice just said, “Goodbye.” Pretty clear it’s just another dodgy scam. Blocked it straight away.

A bloke called John rang me claiming my loft insulation was not up to scratch. I don’t know how he could tell without actually seeing it - must have some kind of magic eyes! Totally a scam if you ask me. Seems like these lot have moved on from trying it on with mobile phone scams now.

Some bloke said he was with Vodaphone, offering to cut my bill or upgrade my phone. I just said no thanks and ended the call. After reading the other comments here, I reckon he was probably after my money or maybe trying to get my personal info.

Somebody called saying they were Laura Gordon from O2, wanted to know if I wanted to chat about having a business account since apparently I’m self employed or something. I said no thanks, she said sorry and would fix it. But when I asked how she got my info, the call just cut off. Definitely a scam, blocked the number straight away.

Received a call claiming to be from O2 regarding a business plan. I informed the chap that I wasn't keen and promptly ended the conversation, then blocked the number. It’s worth noting that O2 typically wouldn't reach out in this manner from an unfamiliar number.
