Got a call from some company called cic world, they asked for me by name and wanted to go over some info about a holiday competition I entered. When I asked when it was, they said within the last couple of months. They claimed they got my number off some phone company I’ve never even heard of. They said sorry for the interruption and hung up. Sounds like it was some kind of telemarketing deal.

Well, nothing’s really free with these timeshare deals! They somehow manage to rope you in saying you’ve won a stay, but it just feels like their usual pushy hard sell tactics. Definitely not what I expected.

Got calls from two separate numbers earlier, 01242806704 and 01908041342. Didn’t pick up on either, seems like some sort of scam attempt. I reckon they’ll stop bothering me way before I get annoyed :)

They called me saying I’d supposedly won a competition I never took part in. Total scam, for sure.

Just got a call from 041342 701908, said it was from Cle World, but I never agreed to get calls from them. When I asked where they got my details, they said I should email data-protection-officer@cleworldI###] and put in a subject access request. Feels like a total scam to me.

Got a call from someone saying they were from some competition line, asking if I wanted a 20% discount sent to my email. Never gave my email out. Watch out for those folks pushing you to say yes!
