Got calls from two different numbers, three times in total. Just blocked them.

They keep ringin me from loads of different numbers. I've blocked like 3 or 4 but they still get through from other numbers. All of them seem to be from Milton Keynes.

A lady rang, wanting to chat with my wife about some survey she'd supposedly done over the phone. I informed her that my wife wasn't available, and she mentioned she'd call back the following day. I clarified that my wife hadn’t participated in any survey and inquired about the name of the company she was representing. She mentioned it was English Hotels and Leisure. I firmly requested her to take our number off their list and pointed out that the GDPR regulations kick in on the 25th of May. After that, the woman hung up rather abruptly. Not that I'm shocked!

I’ve never heard of anyone from Milton Keynes, so I just let the call from this number ring out. I actually blocked it straight away before even looking it up here, felt like a scam to me.

They ring at all hours which is really annoying. I never pick up numbers I don’t recognise. If it’s really urgent, they’ll leave a voicemail anyway. Its a timeshare firm calling. They say you’ve bagged a free holiday to Florida, Tenerife, Costa del Sol or Turkey (flights not included tho). Then they start probing about your relationship, if you own a home and your income. All they want is for you to sit through a 90 minute info session!!! Nah, I’m good. Blocked instantly.

It was a timeshare outfit, said I'd won a holiday but needed to cover the airfare costs.

She said it was about a survey I’d supposedly done online and hinted it could be good news, but they needed to verify my info first. I told her I didn’t recall filling out any survey. She just said alright, thanks, and then ended the call.
