I've been bombarded with calls from this unfamiliar number, yet there’s never any voicemail left behind.

I received a rather alarming call from a woman purporting to represent BT Openreach. She stated that my broadband connection was on the verge of being terminated and suggested I press 1 to speak with one of their engineers. I find this suspicious as I don’t even use BT for my internet service! It’s likely a scam, wouldn’t you agree?

Got a robo call claiming to be from BT internet, said my broadband was about to be cut off. It asked me to press 1 to talk to an engineer to sort it out. I just ended the call straight away.

some bloke rang me, said his name was john and that he does window cleaning. he asked if i wanted my windows done, i said yeah, and he told me he'd come round tomorrow. said he was from around here.

I got a call from a woman who obviously knew my name and claimed she was calling from xxxx, but I couldn't catch the name properly. I told her I'd put the call on speaker and asked her to say it again, then she immediately hung up. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

Someone rang me claiming to be from some firm called Later Life, offering funeral plans. The caller had an accent that didn't sound right, so I reckon it was one of those scams trying to get your bank info. I told her no thanks about four times. She kept going on about how they could hook me up with loads of funeral plan providers, but I just told her I already have options and wasn't interested. After a bit she gave up and hung up. Be cautious if you get calls from any number starting with #0 like this.
