I recently had an encounter with someone feigning to be from a so-called “Debt Relief” organisation, attempting to pull a fast one on me. They claimed that the government had some sort of assistance lined up to help with my debts. Quite absurd, really, considering I don't have any debts to begin with! I'm absolutely convinced this was nothing more than a ruse to swindle me out of my hard-earned cash!

Dont trust national debtline, its a load of rubbish! We should report these scammers to action fraud by calling 0300 123 2040 or checking their site online. Time to take action and stand up against these con artists!

Someone rang me but didn't leave any voicemail, so I just blocked the number.

got a call off some bloke saying he was from a debt help company linked to the government. when i asked how they got my number, they either didnt know or just wouldn’t say. kept dodging my questions and was super pushy trying to make me spill details, but never gave me straight answers. then he said i was being 'rude' or something like that. obviously, it was a cold call but they denied it. me? i gave nothing away, no chance.

I get calls from this number like 5 times daily and when you answer, the person on the other end barely speaks to you. They just put you through to an automated system pushing insurance deals and PPI claims, even if you have no need or aren’t eligible. Such a pain!

They keep ringing me claiming to be from the national debt helpline, but I’m not convinced! At least twice a week, a new number pops up on my phone, and no matter how many times I ask them to leave me alone, they just don't stop. Really frustrating!
