Got a call supposedly from “your bank’s security team,” but wouldn’t even say which bank! They mentioned some dodgy transactions of £300 and £200 to Amazon, which they claimed was suspicious since I supposedly never bought from Amazon before. Thing is, I’ve definitely used my card with Amazon loads of times, so that sounded weird to me. Anyway, they wanted me to press 1 or 2 to sort it out, but honestly it felt like a scam no matter what option I chose.
