I couldn't help but sarcastically express my gratitude for disturbing my wife, who was trying to catch some sleep during her night shift, before I abruptly ended the call. Absolutely, we’ve had a similar experience. The person was incredibly impolite and actually suggested to my wife that she should put her laptop in an inappropriate place! How is it that BT, or any company for that matter, permits such atrocious behaviour to persist so often? My wife pointed out that this person's job must be utterly depressing to treat customers in such a way. Seriously, they need to find themselves a proper job!

Got a call from an Asian woman claiming to be from BT Openreach - this was the fourth time in two days! I answered in Greek (I’m bi-lingual) and it totally threw her off! Wish I’d thought to do that earlier. She just said ‘ok’ and hung up - she probably didn’t see that coming. If only I knew Urdu or Hindi, I’d give them a piece of my mind! Got a call from someone with an Asian accent saying they were from BT Openreach. When I told them I’d report them to the police, they just hung up straight away. Funny thing is, if you look up the number, it shows up as "Wyvern Service Station, 48 Ombersley Road, Worcester, WR37EU" on quite a few sites. Got a robotic female voice saying my internet would be cut off right away because of some dodgy activity linked to my IHT address. It told me to press 1 to chat with a tech guy. Then, out of nowhere, a bloke came on and began telling me to transfer the call. Total scam!

I received a phone call from someone with a heavy Indian accent, and it took a rather odd turn. When I mentioned that my internet connection was absolutely fine and my speeds were spot on, this person went and called me daft! Quite the encounter, to say the least.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent claiming to be from BT Openreach saying my internet was too slow. When I told him I don’t even own a computer or laptop, he just hung up on me.

Received a call from someone with a pronounced Indian accent claiming there were issues with my internet speed. I decided to keep him on the line for a bit before finally cutting the conversation short. The cheeky blighter rang me back a staggering eleven times, using half a dozen different numbers, yet it was clearly the same chap, simply repeating "Hello, can you hear me?" I must admit, his perseverance is rather impressive!

Got a call from a guy claiming to be from BT, said he needed to check my internet. Turns out he was trying to trick me into installing something on my computer so he could control it remotely. Don’t fall for it, just hang up!

Got a call from an Asian bloke claiming he's from BT Openreach saying my internet was running slow and maybe a virus was causing it. I asked him to hang on while I ran a speed test and he just cut me off. Seemed fishy right from the beginning.

I received a rather unwelcome call about my internet supposedly nearing its termination date. When I pointed out that my contract wasn't up for renewal just yet and expressed my frustration at receiving such calls, they promptly cut me off. The voice on the line had an Indian accent, and when I attempted to ring them back, there was no response at all. Quite the dodgy experience!

Got a call from some bloke pretending to be with BT Open Reach about my internet. We don’t even have BT or Open Reach for our broadband, so I knew right away it was dodgy. I played along, asked what he wanted, then he just started laughing and rattling off in some language I didn’t understand. After a bit of that, he just laughed again and hung up. Wouldn’t mind if he rings back, that muppet!

I received a call claiming to be from Openreach regarding issues with my router. When I mentioned I’d looked into a similar call before and discovered it was a scam, they promptly ended the conversation. Quite suspicious, I must say!

This absolute clown wanted me to switch on my computer and look at some stuff. Suspecting it was a scam, I decided to humour them for a while. When they asked, all serious, ‘what’s showing on your screen now?’, I tried to keep a straight face and said, ‘it says this is a nasty scammer.’ You should have heard the insults he threw at me after that. Haha! I was sure I’d blocked this number weeks ago, but apparently, they’re still managing to ring me.

Got a call from a lady with an Indian accent, she said something like “just calling to check your internet” then asked “how are you today?” I replied “I’m fine thanks” and then she just hung up. Looked up the number 01905 726162.

Got a call from some random guy with an Asian accent saying my internet wasn’t working. I told him it was all fine. He kept saying the same thing like he was reading from a script or something, so I just said again it’s fine and then he hung up. Classic scam call, nothing new.

My partner got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent claiming to be from Virgin, saying there was an issue with our internet being slow. He asked him to look at some lights on the computer, then said he could fix it through the computer. When my husband said he’s not very tech-savvy, the guy said he’d ring back another time. I looked up the number online afterwards and found out it was a scam.

I received a call purportedly from BT Openreach, stating there was an issue with my internet connection. I informed her that everything was functioning perfectly, and she promptly disconnected the call. The caller was an Asian woman, and her grasp of the English language seemed quite poor.
