Ah, it appears we’re dealing with Slater & Gordon here... one might say they are the epitome of questionable conduct. There have been ongoing inquiries into fraudulent activities, both in Australia and the UK, ever since they set foot here in 2011. It’s worth noting that they have ties to Johnathan Aitkin, a disgraced former MP who served time for fraud. Recently, they acquired Quindell for a staggering £647 million, and now they seem keen to distance themselves from that scandal as the investigations unfold. Not to mention, they took over Russell Jones & Walker for £53.08 million. Quite the tangled web, wouldn't you agree?

Got a call from an Indian chap asking for our name and postcode, told him to get lost. After that, the same number kept ringing us around three times a day. Whenever we answered, no one would speak, just hung up. Finally I blocked the annoying number, hope it stops now.

On the evening of 2nd November 2015 around 7:20pm, I got a call where no one said a word! Since our number isn’t listed anywhere, it’s definitely gotta be some sort of scam.

Got a call on this number on 2nd Nov 2015 around 8:20pm. There was dead silence at first, had to keep saying hello a few times. When he finally spoke, the connection was terrible and I couldn’t understand a thing, so I just hung up.

I've had quite enough of these pesky calls from the accident helpline - I've reiterated on multiple occasions that I've never been involved in an accident! Today, I finally snapped and told them to take their nonsense elsewhere, suggesting they bother someone else instead. I even mentioned I'd consider lodging a complaint with Ofcom, although I doubt that'll change much. It's absolutely ridiculous how relentless these calls are! I've gone so far as to block every number they're using, yet they just keep popping up with a new one.

I got a call at like 5pm on the 2nd November 2015. The connection was awful, barely could make out what was being said and then suddenly it went dead. I’m sure they’ll be ringing back anyhow. Funny thing is, I went ex-directory just last week and signed up with the TPS too!

Got a call around 8 in the evening but I didn't pick up since my phone shows who’s calling and this number wasn’t familiar at all. I’ve also switched off my answerphone so they wouldn’t be able to leave a message. What I can’t figure out is how they even got hold of my number - I’m ex-directory and I’m on the TPS list!

On the 11th Feb 2015, I got a call from someone saying they were from Aviva life insurance about a car crash supposedly within the past 2 years. The guy sounded Indian and the phone connection was really bad. He refused to tell me his name, number or where he was calling from even tho I asked him multiple times, saying he wasn't allowed. Feels like a total scam to me. I'll be reporting this to the information commissioner for sure.

Got a call from 01905705252, took a bit to pick up, and there was some sort of foreign accent I couldn’t quite catch when they said where they were ringing from. Then they started talking about a car accident. I’m registered with TPS so shouldn’t be getting calls like this - definitely a scam. My mum had the same call just the other day, so they might be targeting people around here. Feels like some kind of cyber phishing attempt to me.
