I got a call from 03300015325 claiming to be Castle Intruder Alarms, the firm that put in our CCTV. Seems like it’s a Skype number they use and then pass through to someone's mobile on duty.

Has anyone else had calls from 70161 818 8845 or 03300015325? I got a message from Savvy Claims saying my bank account was wrongly charged related to some insurance and overdraft issues. They mentioned a legal case that started back in 2009 against the bank, backed by the Ministry of Justice, and apparently, it ended in 2016 with their company winning and recovering billions for customers in the UK. They also sent details about their claim terms, which they said can't be changed. Bit confusing and sounds a bit dodgy to me.

Some bloke with an Asian accent rang up saying his partner had been in a crash and was in hospital. Said she needed some expensive treatment that the NHS wouldn't cover, and asked for a payment. I reckon that'd seriously upset someone who isn't too clued up on these things.

Sounds like the usual tale. They claimed I’d won £2385 in some Barclays claim I’d never even heard of. Said all I had to do was send £238 to their account and the cheque would arrive the next day, which was crazy because it was a Sunday. I’m definitely reporting them to the police since they had loads of my personal details, including my name and date of birth.

I received a rather peculiar phone call from a gentleman introducing himself as Mr Inderjit Singh, claiming to be a solicitor from a company called Savvy Claims. He directed me to visit their website for verification. This chap insisted that he would be depositing a sum of £2,385 into my bank account shortly. Strangely enough, he had a fair bit of my personal information, which he stated he had sourced from my Halifax account. He proceeded to explain that I would first receive £200 in my account and then needed to dash to the nearest shop to return the money via iTunes. His instructions included purchasing a gift card from any local retailer, after which he assured me he would transfer £2,485 into my account. Throughout the call, he was exceedingly insistent and kept urging me to act quickly, claiming the shop would be closing soon!

So yesterday I got a call from some Indian men who managed to con me out of £230 by saying my bank owed me some fees. What really threw me off was that soon after, another Asian bloke rang claiming to be from NatWest. He even knew the exact amount in my account, which made it feel legit. I ended up transferring £230 to them, which was to Lloyds bank account, sort code 30990, account number 26960468, under the name Simon Hancock. I've reported the whole thing to the police now and the bank’s helping to track them down. Just a heads up, be careful with these types chasing money like this!

Over the past few weeks, this number kept ringing me like two or three times each day. When I finally picked up, a man with an Indian accent said something about me making a claim on my bank. What really freaked me out was that he actually named my bank and even the account holder. I told him I wasn't up for this chat, and then he started sounding pretty pushy. So, I just ended the call.

I've had a few calls where they were after my bank information, claiming they could refund me £2380 from RBS. They seemed to know an unsettling amount about me and had quite an odd manner about them.

I got an email from Savvy claiming they were asking for the exact same amount from my insurance and overdraft. I never made any claim, no idea how they found my address. These scammers are really risky, so watch out and make sure to warn your mates and older relatives about them!

so i decided to play along with this guy and he told me to pop down to a supermarket and grab 100 apple gift cards. he said he’d send the cash into my bank for it, then made some weird beeping noises on the phone and claimed the money was there. he urged me to buy the cards and send him the codes, promising to put £2378 into my account once he got his fee back. seriously, don't fall for this kind of scam!

Harassment is an understatement! My phone has been bombarded with calls - three times a day, to be precise, and not a single voicemail has been left. They even managed to rouse me from my slumber at 7:55 AM today. I decided to ring back (with my number hidden, of course) only to be greeted by an aggressive foreign chap. When I kindly requested to be removed from their database, he started shouting and promptly cut the call. Fast forward five hours, I tried my luck again, hoping to speak to a manager. Surprise, surprise - no manager in sight. But if I left my number, they'd get back to me. Turns out it’s a dodgy claims firm. Once more, as I reiterated my request to be taken off their list, I was met with shouting and yet another abrupt hang-up. Whatever you do, don't share any information with these absolute muppets! Total nightmare!
