Got a call from someone who said his name was Albert Wilson and that he was with the TPS. He asked me a bunch of questions that seemed to check info they already had. Then out of nowhere, he started asking about my debit card, beginning with when the card expires. I’ve never given TPS my card or banking info, so I knew straight away it was dodgy and probably a scam.

Earlier today, my partner almost got duped by this number when a certain Alex Brown called. It's worth noting that reputable organisations like the Telephone Preference Service would never engage in unsolicited calls like that!
