They encouraged me to ring a premium-rate number to chat with some so-called technicians who'd supposedly assist me in retrieving my installation key, as they were apparently running some new promotion for the software. The truth is, I bought a similar programme a couple of years back and found it next to useless, leading me to cancel my order. Safe to say, I won't be giving that number a call. Hopefully, this will assist others who might receive a similar email from this lot.PDFPC CLEANER9 yearsI received a rather alarming call from someone demanding that I pay £1000 online via credit card due to an alleged contract I supposedly entered into with them. They insisted that if I complied, they would cease any further proceedings against me. However, I have no such contract with them, and they couldn’t even get my first name right! My response? I told them where to go, asserting that I’d be reporting this nonsense to the authorities for extortion.
