01905423573 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 01905423573 πŸ‘† is reported as a scam number making automated calls claiming your HSBC or Visa card has unauthorised gambling transactions abroad. Callers use robotic voices warning of suspicious charges and urge you to press buttons to verify or cancel payments, often to Amazon or gambling sites in the USA. Several users confirm these calls are fake and advise ignoring or hanging up since it’s clearly someone trying to scare you into giving info or access. People also mention calling their bank directly from a separate number to check, as this number is not genuine. The scam messages tend to come early morning and rely on panic tactics, with no genuine bank representatives on the line. Many advise simply not pressing any numbers or engaging.

I received a rather suspicious automated call purportedly from HSBC's fraud division. They mentioned there were two unusual transactions: one for £300 towards Amazon and another for £1010 for an international transfer. They claimed these transactions were out of the ordinary, especially since I'd never used my card for such payments before. They prompted me to press 2 if I wanted to either validate or cancel the transactions. I do have an account with HSBC, so out of curiosity, I pressed 2, but quickly realised something was off, hung up, and used the number printed on the back of my card to call them directly from another phone. Turns out, that call wasn't legitimate at all.

I tried ringing but there was nobody there when I picked up. Didn't bother to call them again.

I got a vague recorded message about some visa executive and something to do with 100 quid, but couldn’t make it out properly. It was on my answerphone for a bit, then vanished. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.

I ignored the call so they dropped a voicemail saying the same old thing about spotting suspicious activity on my Visa card while gambling in the States (£800!). They told me to press one to get through to their fraud dept. Classic scam, just trying to scare someone into reacting! ####

Nuisances! I can't be bothered to pick up the phone.

Received a call purportedly from my bank’s security team-though it definitely sounded like a pre-recorded message rather than genuine human interaction. They claimed there’d been a hefty withdrawal from my Visa for gambling on some American site! I’ve had enough of these dodgy tactics. Straight to the block list with them! Total scam, if you ask me!

On the 7th of June 2023, I got a ring at about 8:30 in the morning from someone who said pretty much the same as the other comment here. It was like a recorded message. I just hung up straight away. No way I was going to press 1 or 2 like they asked. Feels like a total scam to me.

On 6th July 2023, I got a call around 8:30 in the morning. The voice said pretty much the same thing as the other comment about this number - it sounded like a recorded message. I just hung up straight away, not risking pressing any buttons like 1 or 2 like they asked. Feels like one of those dodgy scams to me.

My landline rang from this number around 8:39 this morning. I got a recorded voice saying that someone had spent a big sum on my Visa card gambling somewhere in America, can't quite recall the exact place. They mentioned it was linked to my Amazon account and told me to press 1 to stop the charge or 2 to accept it. I just ended the call without pressing anything.
