They said they were from O2, but it was obvious they were calling from abroad. I tried to make conversation by asking about the weather in Worcester, but they had no clue. Then they noticed the number showed Worcester, but couldn’t even say the town’s name properly or say where it was. I think they used a legitimate landline number to try and fool people - definitely a dodgy phone scam.
