7 yearsGot a call from a woman claiming to be from an unknown bank, saying £600 had gone overseas from my card. She told me to press 1, which I did, but nothing happened. I ended the call. Later, I dialled 1471 to see who’d called, then rang the number back, only to get told the number wasn’t recognised. I checked both my bank and credit card statements and there was no sign of any transfer. Sounds like a dodgy scam to me, probably not a very well-executed one though.
