I received a call from what sounded like a recorded message purporting to be from some sort of BT intern service - very odd, as I always thought interns were usually in hospitals! The voice informed me that my phone and internet contract was set to be terminated this afternoon. It then presented me with two choices: press 1 if I wished to proceed with the call, or press 2 to find out what would happen if my service got cancelled, including fees for reconnection. I chose to hang up instead. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!
