I got a call from a bloke with an English accent about some free home survey, something to do with a government scheme. I told him straight up I wasn’t interested, but he kept going on about it being free. I told him again I didn’t want it, and then he just hung up.

Some bloke called asking for my address to send a leaflet about legal help. I told him I wasn’t interested but he kept trying to push it on me.

Even though the number appears to originate from York, it seems likely it came from some far-off call centre, considering how poor the line was. They pretended to be conducting a survey. I mentioned that we’re registered with the Telephone Preference Service, and they really ought not to be reaching out to us.

Got a call from a lady who spoke Chinese and was trying to get me to do some survey. She was really persistent and I had to keep saying no before she finally hung up. Told her to remove my number from whatever list they’re using. Honestly, how do they even get hold of our numbers? Sounds like dodgy scammers if you ask me. I’ve blocked the number now, no point in dealing with them again.
