I don’t usually use my mobile much, but this number keeps calling without leaving any voicemail. I have no idea who it is, and if they aren’t dropping a message, to me it just sounds like a scam call.

Looks like they’re calling from India, but using some kind of softphone to show a UK landline number on caller ID. Honestly, don’t fall for these dodgy scam calls! I usually get about five of these every single week.

Got a call from a York number, 01904938733, about house repairs but the properties are actually in the Midlands. It’s odd because I would have thought the local council would use their own workers for that kinda thing. Feels like just another scam targeting older people to swindle their cash or worse. Received a call from someone claiming to represent a government debt management service. They even addressed me by my name! I didn’t stick around to find out more and just ended the call. Definitely felt like a dodgy scam.

I picked up the phone once and the person started swearing at me. When I asked where they got my number from, they said it wasn’t any of my business. I’m pretty sure it has something to do with me though, since I never gave them permission to have it. I told them to take my number off their list but they just refused and said they’d keep calling. The caller got really nasty and abusive. I’ve reported the number and blocked it, but they still manage to ring me about 7 or 8 times a day! Even with the block in place, the calls keep coming through.
