I'm absolutely fed up with these con artists ringing me up. It's driving me mad!

I received a call from the number 01904 935865, which seems to be linked to dodgy insulation schemes. This number uses the dialling code associated with York in England, not far from Ireland. They left a message on my voicemail, but I chose not to respond.

I received a rather robotic message concerning energy efficiency and loft insulation. It seemed to be attempting a conversational tone, even though it didn't wait for a response before continuing on with its spiel. Quite the curious approach, really!

When I picked up the phone, there was absolute silence on the other end. If it’s either someone or a bot ringing me and they don’t utter a word when I respond, I tend to consider it suspicious. A legitimate call would usually come with a voice on the line, wouldn’t you agree?

The answering machine picked up, and the caller decided to cut the line. Quite vexing, to say the least.
