What's going on these days? The amount of scam calls I've been getting is absolutely relentless! It's beyond me why the TPS and BT aren’t doing anything about it!

I received a call from someone claiming to be from an energy company, asking for Luke—definitely a scam! I've immediately blocked the number!

I've encountered what appears to be a dodgy scam operation hailing from India. Contrary to some opinions I've seen, calling it a call centre is misleading. It's simply a ruse. Be very cautious and under no circumstances share any personal information with them. In my case, they were masquerading as representatives from Sky.

Received a call from an unknown number, but they chose to leave a message instead of speaking to me directly, only to cut the line before anything was said. It’s peculiar really, as I've been inundated with mysterious callers lately, despite being on the Telephone Preference Service for well over a decade and having a private number.

This number seems to be linked to dodgy telemarketing, so I opted not to pick it up. I've also signed up with the Telephone Preference Service, which means they really ought to steer clear of cold calling me.

Received a call on my landline, but the number wasn't familiar, so I didn't pick up. They didn't bother leaving any voicemail either. It's becoming tiresome as I'm already registered with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) and I'm completely fed up with these unsolicited calls from numbers seemingly linked to Twilio Ireland. What a nuisance!

Received a rather dubious call from someone claiming to be associated with Sky, offering me a perpetual 30% discount on my bill. It's quite preposterous, really! If they were genuinely from Sky, they wouldn’t need to ring me out of the blue; I’d expect a proper shout through my account or even a text message detailing any special deals. Cheerio! 👋🏼

Received a call from 01904935670, but they hung up before I could pick up the conversation. I don't have any acquaintances in York, and since I've signed up with the Telephone Preference Service, I shouldn't be on the receiving end of these types of calls anyway. I've now ensured that number is blocked.
